The birds love the surrounds of Kingfisher Cottage with more than 130 species recorded around the Cottage and many more on your own self-drive game drives on Mabalingwe which spans approx. 8,500ha.

Kingfisher Cottage provides one couple with totally private, tranquil, peaceful accommodation in a one-bedroomed Cottage on the 1st floor of the building. It cannot accommodate more guests and is unfortunately NOT Wheelchair friendly at all.

You can rest your weary soul on the deck overlooking the private waterhole, taking in the quiet and revitalising atmosphere of the foothills of the Waterberg and, when mealtime comes, you can do your own braai on the gas braai on the Deck, or your own wood fire in the Boma, none of which is shared with anybody else.

Should you really need to catch up on your favourite TV-programme or watch serious rugby, cricket or motorsport, the Cottage is equipped with a full Bouquet Premium DSTV service at no extra cost.
